How your Personal Brand affects the success of your startup/business
Everyone has an image in this high-paced information age, and this is because Customers have access to different sources of information about the company, its CEO, managers, and staff. Therefore, it is not only important to build a brand for your startup but also to compliment it with a strong personal brand.
Personal branding is a concept where one promotes his message, thoughts, and ideologies to spread out his and his startup’s story so that he can establish a robust and trustworthy brand for his audience. This is often a deliberate and structured effort and can be achieved by doing some of the following:
Figure out the right platform for you: Depending on your goals for your personal brand and business, choose the platform that allows you to speak to your potential customers.
Create a win-win relationship. Engage with people on this platform you have chosen. Don’t just post and go to sleep. Comment on other people's content, offer good insights on conversations, make friends and offer people value or solutions to their problems.
Get in the habit of creating good content: Consistency is key to building a good brand. If ideas are a struggle, consider sharing about business challenges and solutions with the audience or focusing on questions that are often asked by clients. A combination of lifestyle and educational content is key.
